- To start with, stir the hazelnut cream with the brunch, vanilla sugar, salt and sugar into a bowl until frothy. Add the egg and stir well again. Mix in the flour, baking powder and the chopped hazelnuts, knead well, then wrap the dough in foil and chill for 2-3 hours.
- In the meantime, preheat the oven to 175 degrees top / bottom heat and line 2 trays with baking foil. Roll out the dough 0.5 cm thick on a lightly floured work surface and cut out any shapes. Press the edges of the molds into the granulated sugar and place on the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
Let the cookies cool on a wire rack and pack them in cans.
