Dark almond sliver

200 G Chocolate, bittersweet
1 prize Ginger powder
200 G Almond pencils

  1. For the almonds Roast the almond sticks briefly in a pan without fat or oil.
  2. Dissolve the chocolate in a large saucepan in a water bath. Add ginger powder to the dissolved chocolate – if you like, you can also add a dash of rum or orange juice.
  3. Now add the still warm almond slivers to the chocolate and stir so that all the almonds are covered with the chocolate.
  4. Using a spoon, place a small pile of almond and chocolate on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let it cool down.
